Kristin Campbell receives prestigious awards!

Congratulation to Dr. Kristin Campbell on receiving two prestigious awards!

Dr. Campbell is currently on a one-year sabbatical, and has received two awards to support her research leave.

The first award is the American College of Sports Medicine Visiting Scholar Award, which supports an investigator to visit a laboratory of their choice to learn new and current techniques in exercise and sports medicine.

The second award is the Killam Research Fellowship Award from UBC, which supports a faculty member who wishes to devote full time to research and study during a recognized study leave. Read more about this here.

So far during her research leave, she has visited the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the Division of Research at Kaiser Permanente in Oakland, CA, both visits were to explore new methodologies for breast cancer tissue physiology research.
